The short version
MyShiftCal has no accounts and no databases of user schedules. The shift pattern, start date, and dates you enter are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers. Calendar files (.ics) are generated on your device.
What we do collect
- Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability, retained for a limited period.
- Aggregate analytics. We may measure page views and approximate geography to understand which guides help people. This data does not identify you.
Advertising
MyShiftCal is free and supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to serve ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Third-party vendors' use of advertising cookies enables them and their partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and others. For more on how Google uses data, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Cookies
The calculator itself does not require cookies. Advertising partners may set cookies as described above. Where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland), you will be shown a consent message before any non-essential cookies are used.
Children
MyShiftCal is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Links
Pages may link to external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites.
